• One of the youngest drivers by 2 yrs
• Note: Changed chassis mid season and discovered engine had a defective ignition box from the start of the season
2006 3rd Place Honda Junior Championship – Coupe
de Montreal
• Nathan was the youngest driver in the top 10 by 2
yrs and actually raced 2 of the races while
recovering from a broken foot.
• His results for the year were 1 - 1st place
finish, 4 – 2nd place finishes, and 3 – 3rd place
finishes
• In addition he was the fastest qualifier twice and
had the fastest lap of the race 4 times.
2005 10th Place Junior Light Championship –
Mosport Club
• Nathan raced a shortened season due to safety
concerns with the new track
• Despite that, he had a 1st place and a 3rd place
finish, as well as fastest qualifier and twice had
the fastest lap of the race.
2004 7th Place Novice Championship – Mosport Club
• This season was hampered by major mechanical
issues.
• Even with these challenges he was able to pull off
2- 2nd place finishes, 5 – 4th place finishes, and 3
- 5th place finishes
2003 4th Place Novice Championship – Mosport Club
• Nathan was the youngest driver in the top 6 by 2
yrs
• He finished the year with 3 – 1st place finishes,
2 – 2nd place finishes, and 1 – 3rd place finish
2nd Place – Mosport Grand Prix of Racing
3rd Place – OKRA Grand Nationals
2002 Novice Class Champion – National Capital
Kart Club
• Nathan had a fantastic year, as he won every
Feature race that he attended. By race 10 he had
already won the championship and it was not
necessary to attend the final 2 races.
• In addition to winning all the feature races, he
won 15 of the 20 heat races and finished on the
podium for the balance.
• He holds the track record at Karter Korners, which
was 3 seconds faster than the previous record.
• He set the record for the most feature wins in one
season and had the highest point score in the
history of all classes in NCKC.
2001 5th Place Novice Championship – National
Capital Kart Club
• Nathan finished in 1st place in 3 feature races
and 4 heat races.
2000 Nathan started racing on the day after his
6th birthday.
• He won his first race that year and had 4 top five
finishes
WHAT GOT ME INTO KARTS: Going to the Le Mans
race at Mosport.
OTHER INTERESTS: Junior Black Belt in Karate,
Piano
